Nikon D5500

The Nikon D5500 marked an important turning point in the development of Nikon's upper entry-level DSLR cameras: For the first time, the Japanese camera manufacturer slimmed the body noticeably, thus giving the hand more room for a secure hold. Also a touch screen was never seen before in a DSLR camera from Nikon.

We generally recommend SDHC and SDXC memory cards with an UHS-I-interface and a SD Speed Class from 10/U1 or above, if you're using a Nikon D5500. More expensive UHS-II-cards do not offer any advantage in terms of speed (burst mode) or video capabilities.
